A Reckoning Come October - a scenario for Casting The Runes

The Major has returned from the Transvaal, but he is a changed man. War has scarred him, and the guilty secrets he left in South Africa are not content to stay there. They have followed him and there will be a reckoning.

It is October 1902 and in Cambridge the Everlasting Club has been asked to investigate a haunting at a house in nearby Huntingdonshire. Unfortunately, the Club is busy dealing with another more urgent matter, and the Investigators are asked to check out the mystery of Holywell on the Club’s behalf. 

 This is a tabletop roleplaying game mystery for use with Casting the Runes, a GUMSHOE based system set in Edwardian times; however, it can be easily adapted to other systems as desired. 

It should take 3-5 hours to complete.
