Dark Ages Britain. The Spring of 495CE.

There is rejoicing as the love of Christianity waxes in the northern province of Gwynedd.

However, the jubilation of the righteous is tempered by the suffering of the displaced. A sickness stalks the land. Crops are failing, the people are becoming ill with plague after plague, and more worrying, at this rate there will be no births next year. The populace has taken to calling it "The Blight".

The Adventurers who seek to deal with The Blight may be Ambaxtos Warriors, Christian Ascetics, Bards, Druids, Hunters, Outlaws, Lyblæca Sorcerers, Saxon Ċeorls, Traders, and even Tenant Farmers - they all have the common goal to restore the land.

Using the Ennie Award winning Forbidden Lands System mechanics, the players will explore Dark Ages history, experience Arthurian legend, meet Welsh folklore head on, and overcome dreadful adversity, using wit, guile, and force of arms.
